Skills for Coping & Communicating

So you know all about jealousy, compersion, and new relationship energy – now what? (Or maybe you need a refresher – we got you!) This workshop will guide you in developing effective, practical emotion regulation strategies for coping with big emotions that come up in non-monogamous relationships. The ability to regulate our own emotions is one of the most important individual skills we can bring to our partnerships. You will learn skills and strategies in each of the three pillars of emotion regulation: physiological strategies, cognitive strategies, and communication strategies. You’ll then be invited to create your own emotion response plan, either alone or with a partner, and practice them with support and feedback from the facilitators and other participants.
